WATER QUALITY ADJUSTING TYPE FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water quality adjusting type filter capable of effectivcely controlling bacteria of treated water and capable of reducing a production cost for the control of bacteria. SOLUTION: This water quality adjusting type filter is constituted so that raw water is passed through a filter part 28 filled with an ion exchange resin 30 to be subjected to partial water softening treatment. An H-type one is used as the ion exchange resin 30 to bring treated water to an acidic state of a predetermined level. Separate filtering parts 32 and 35 for eluting silver ions with respect to the treated water are provided on the downstream side of the filter part 28. The filtering parts 32 and 35 are filled with activated particles 32a and 35a coated with silver not only to elute silver ions to the treated water but also to impart bacteria control action to the treated water.
