The brush is assembled of several cylindrical segments (2) positioned behind each other along a central shaft and provided with linear recesses (4) located along their outer surfaces (10) suitable for the insertion of grinding or polishing units. Each of the segments (2) is provided with four bores (11) forming long ducts when the segments (2) are connected in order to accommodate four rods serving as a reinforcing elements.
