<p>The invention relates to the use of fluopsin C in combination with other therapeutic agents for the treatment of infections caused by ascomycetes, yeasts, basidiomycetes, fungi imperfici, oomycetes, gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Combinations of fluopsin C at concentrations below 1 mug/ml reduce the required dose of standard therapeutic agents by up to 98%. The invention also relates to compositions containing mixtures of fluopsin C with other therapeutic agents, and to methods of treatment based on the same combinations.</p> |
