<p>A running display device comprising a poster support ribbon (100) which is tensed between a first cylinder (11) and a second cylinder (12) enabling unwinding from a first cylinder and winding around a second cylinder after passing in front of a viewing area and vice-versa. The running of the poster support ribbon (100) is controlled during each running session by a control device comprising a mechanical transmission cable (15) driving rollers (13,14) which are connected to the first and second cylinders (11,12). The transmission cable (15) is driven by a driving roller (18) coupled to a driving element (19). The running control device continuously maintains the rotation speed of each cylinder (11,12) such that it is at all time proportional to the effective winding diameter on the cylinder in question.</p> |
