<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that effectively prevents the adverse effect of heat generation from electric substrates, etc., on other components and realizes space saving and cost reduction. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has two or more electric substrates (3, 4), at least one of which is located below the other.
