<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film which is provided, successively from a lower layer side, with a transparent conductive layer, a high-refractive index hard coating layer and a low-refractive index hard coating layer on a front surface of an organic film, is free of a problem of "whiteness" and can obtain high contrast. <P>SOLUTION: The antireflection film 10 is constituted in such a manner that the surface roughness of the boundary F<SB>2</SB>between the high-refractive index hard coating layer 3 and the low-refractive index hard coating layer 4 is smaller than the surface roughness of the boundary F<SB>1</SB>between the transparent conductive layer 2 and the layer 3.
