<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data input device for singing synthesis which facilitates lyrics input operation. <P>SOLUTION: Singing score data having a plurality of pieces of note data specifying pitches and sounding periods of sounds are stored, lyrics are obtained while made to correspond to the note data, and the number of vowels included in pronunciation symbols corresponding to the lyrics made to correspond to the note data is decided. When pronunciation symbols of lyrics made to correspond to one piece of note data include one vowel, the lyrics are allocated to the note data to update the singing score data stored in a storage means. Further, the pronunciation symbols of the lyrics made to correspond to the one piece of note data includes two or more vowels, the lyrics are divided into a plurality of lyrics each including one vowel, note data as many as the vowels are generated from the note data, and the respective divided lyrics are allocated to the respective pieces of note data to update the singing score data stored in the storage means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
