<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathroom sterilizing device and a bathroom sterilizing method capable of removing/sterilizing bacteria and mold adhered to the wall surfaces of a bathroom by cluster ions. <P>SOLUTION: When the completion of the automatic operation of a bath is notified from a bath water heater 40, first the inside of the bathroom is ventilated/dried so that charges are not escaped from the periphery of bacteria adhered to the wall surfaces of the bathroom along the wetted wall surfaces.
