<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a list compilation method and a list compilation device capable of arranging inputted data in a cell in a balanced manner regardless of cell width. <P>SOLUTION: In a list compilation device for compiling a list expressed by combination of rectangular cells, the cells are selected by a selection means composed of a cell-to-cell movement part, a cell selection part and a cell connection part, and a selection region comprising the cells is defined. Next, when a character string is evenly allocated into the selection region selected by the cell selection means, a width equivalent to a character-to-character pitch obtained by dividing the width of the cell by a numerical value of the number of inputted characters + 1 is secured in distances from the middle part between the head character and the last character of the character string outputted to the selected cells to both ends of the respective cells in the selection region by a display control part; and the character string is evenly allocated to the remaining region of the selection region and displayed on a screen of a display part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
