<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: management of semantic relation between contents is generally extremely ambiguous and arbitrary, the semantic relation cannot be strictly systematically organized and used for the management, impartment of the semantic relation is often executed to a portion of the contents, the impartment of the semantic relation is executed between a plurality of messages or their portions, and specification operation of the semantic relation is complicated. <P>SOLUTION: This system has: a contents display means; a target specification means specifying a target imparted with the semantic relation; a semantic relation specification means: a semantic relation system storage means storing a kind and a value of the semantic relation; a semantic relation specification vocabulary storage means storing a specification vocabulary for specifying the semantic relation; an input means for the contents; a contents recording means; and a semantic relation recording means recording the kind and the value of the semantic relation between the contents or the portions.
