<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic lens which is formed by applying an electron beam curing hard coating agent to a plastic lens base material and which obviates the deterioration of the base material, has excellent adhesion property and abrasion resistance, and is further provided with antireflection property, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The plastic lens is formed by coating the plastic lens base material with the electron beam curing hard coating agent and irradiating the coating with an irradiation dose of ≤60 kGy by using an electron beam irradiation apparatus of a vacuum tube type to cure or crosslink the coating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
