PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hakama-shaped apron so designed as to be in harmony with Japanese kimono when attending to guests in a Japanese-style hot-spring hotel or a Japanese-style restaurant, and at a Japanese tea ceremony party, and so structured that a string is attached to the upper edge of an apron part and tied around the waist of a wearer so that the front face of the wearer's lower half body is covered with the apron part.
SOLUTION: The apron looks like a Japanese hakama in front view when worn. The apron is structured as follows: linking three pieces of fabric 5a, 5b and 5c together; folding back the center piece fabric 5b to form a doubled-back part 3; sewing up backside fold lines 4b, 4b so as not to deform; putting both of front-face side fold lines 4a, 4a together; and sewing up the lines 4a, 4a by a predetermined length A from the upper edge so as not to come apart from each other.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
