<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform proper stroboscopic photography hardly influenced by the reflectance of an object and hardly affected by detection errors in autofocus. <P>SOLUTION: The stroboscopic photography system has a 1st arithmetic means to calculate 1st photometric data based on a photometric value obtained by a photometry means to perform the photometry of reflected light from the object by preliminary light emission, a subject distance detection means (#120) to detect subject distance information, a 2nd arithmetic means (#121) to arithmetically calculate 2nd proper photometric data in accordance with the subject distance information based on the subject distance information, and a 3rd arithmetic means (#122 and #123) to calculate 3rd photometric data based on the result of arithmetic calculation by the 1st and the 2nd arithmetic means, and a control means (#124-#126) to perform stroboscopic photography by controlling the quantity of normal light emission based on the result of the calculation by the 3rd arithmetic means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
