PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for opening the lid of the container with contents therein and rapidly discharging the contents, in the method of opening a lid of a container having the lid with a screw (hereinafter, referred to as a screwed lid) and discharging the contents. SOLUTION: The container with a screwed lid is fitted to a holding means capable of rotating the container with the screwed lid side downwardly in an inverted manner. By rotating the container, the centrifugal force is given to the contents in the container to generate the vortex motion. The screwed lid is detached by the relative rotational motion of the container to the screwed lid, and the contents are discharged by utilizing the vortex motion. The container with the screwed lid comprises a guide part to rotatably hold the container with the screwed lid downwardly in an inverted manner, a rotation means to rotate the container around the axis of the container, and a lid-opening means having a pad part to stop the rotation of the container in rotation by the rotation means.
