PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable portable terminal enabling easy photographing of the image of an opposite party and a self-portrait. SOLUTION: In the state of closing an upper case 1a and a lower case 1b, a camera 2 and a sub LCD 3 are allowed to have surfaces facing each other, that is they become in the state put back to back. The camera 2 and the sub LCD 3 are arranged on the same surface side in the state of opening the upper case 1a and the lower case 1b. A side key 4 is arranged on the side face of the lower case 1b. A user confirms the image of the opposite party captured by the camera 2 through the sub LCD 3 by using the side key 4 as a shutter of the camera 2, and photographs and records the image of the opposite party while keeping the state of closing the upper case 1a and the lower case 1b by pressing the side key 4.
