PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoke detector which can be developed with an inexpensive manufacturing cost, and whose unnecessary port can be used for other purposes. SOLUTION: This smoke detector A is constituted of a signal processing part 1 for outputting a projecting part control signal for controlling the light emission of a light projecting part 3 and a smoke concentration measuring part 2 for carrying out the control and abnormality monitor of the light projecting part 3, and for receiving and converting lights scattered by smoke particles into a current value, and for amplifying the current value by an amplification ratio, and for converting the amplified current value into a voltage value to measure the smoke concentration. Each time a light projecting part control signal is outputted, this signal processing part 1 transmits the amplification ratio to a data storage part 2e arranged at the smoke concentration measuring part side.
