PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette for preparing a liquid crystal display element cell in which a liquid crystal material is not stuck to a strip substrate or a spacer and to provide a manufacturing method of the liquid crystal display element cell. SOLUTION: In the cassette for preparing the liquid crystal display element cell, two substrates opposed to each other are stuck to each other via a sealing member and the stuck substrates for the liquid crystal display having a liquid crystal injection port provided at the sealing member are erected so that the liquid crystal injection port is disposed on the lower side. Liquid crystal injection to the liquid crystal display element cell and capping of the injection port are performed without allowing the liquid crystal material to be stuck to the spacer even in the cassette for preparing the liquid crystal display element cell of a simple structure and without allowing the strip substrate to drop from the cassette by providing such a constitution that the liquid crystal injection port is disposed on the lower side of the lower end of the spacer when a liquid crystal is injected and the liquid crystal injection port is disposed in the plate surface of the spacer after the liquid crystal is injected and an engaging means in order that the stuck substrates for the liquid crystal display are not dropped on the side orthogonal to the direction in which the stuck substrates for the liquid crystal display are pressurized.
