PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform condition display having high appealing properties in a display device performing condition display of electronic equipment. SOLUTION: In a display part 60 provided on an electronic apparatus such as a printer, a liquid crystal panel 61 displaying the condition of the electronic equipment, and a backlight 62 irradiating the rear surface of a liquid crystal panel 61 are provided, the backlight 62 is constituted so that light of a plurality of colors can be emitted and emitted light colors of the backlight 62 are changed according to the conditions of the electronic equipment. The irradiation region of the backlight 62 is divided into a plurality of regions, the divided regions are made to be individually irradiated, and the irradiation region is made to be changed according to the conditions of the electronic equipment.
