PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm pump capable of reciprocating a diaphragm with small force and improving pumping efficiency. SOLUTION: The diaphragm pump is provided with: a diaphragm chamber 26 between the diaphragm 20 and a frame body 22, by fixing an outer peripheral edge part 20a to the frame body 22, and mounting the diaphragm 20 on the frame body 22; a suction valve and a delivery valve communicated to the diaphragm chamber 26; and a driving means 34 for driving the diaphragm 20. The diaphragm pump is characterized in that the cross sectional shape of a ring part 20b, a part that deforms during driving of the pump, which is the inner side of the outer peripheral edge part 20a fixed to the frame body 22 of the diaphragm 20, is structured by having a shape comprising a combination of curves, and straight lines with a plurality of different angles, or a combination of curves and straight lines.
