PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base board for surely forming a prescribed gap between a floor plate and a wall face without using any spacer as a construction tool, and to provide a wall corner material and these use method. SOLUTION: A thin part 11 is formed by cutting off the lower half part of a rear face side being in contact with a wall face WF in a thickness direction in a state attached to the wall face WF. At first, in the state that a front face side of the base board 1 is directed to a wall face WF side, a gap of a thick part of the thin part 11 is surely formed when laying a floor plate FP on a floor substrate FB while sandwiching the thin part 11 between the floor plate FP and the wall face WF. When all the floor plates FP is completed to be laid on, the base board 1 sandwiched between the floor plate FP and the wall face WF is entirely removed. When a lower end is attached to the wall face WF so that it is in contact with the upper face of the floor plate FP, the gap S formed between the floor plate FP and the wall face WF and the end edge of the floor plate FP are surely covered with the base board 1.
