PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining wall structure, and its work execution method superior in workability with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This retaining wall structure is assembled at a work execution site having a horizontal work execution base surface 9 and a slope face 1 forming an upward slope in the longitudinal direction to this work execution base surface 9, and has crossbar materials 2 and 3 of a plurality of upper-lower stages extending in the horizontal direction along the slope face 1, and support bars 4 of a plurality of upper-lower stages arranged between the upper-lower crossbar materials, and extending in the longitudinal direction. The superior workability can be provided with the simple work execution by successively dislocating and stacking the upper-lower support bars 4 having the same length in a horizontal attitude together with the crossbar materials 2 and 3 so as to turn to the slope face 1.
