PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an awning allowing change of rain cover, sunshade, ventilation and daylighting performances according to weather and enabling the flexible use of an installation space. SOLUTION: This awning is composed of an awning base unit having a waterproof fabric 10 serving as the sunshade, a horizontal fixed seating unit 1, a water guiding groove unit 4, and a water collecting joint unit 5. The fixed seating unit makes the awning base unit fixed between parallel wall surfaces etc., and the awning base unit is composed of a winding shaft 2, a winding device 9, an expansion arm 3 and the waterproof fabric 10. The expansion width of the expansion arm 3 and the development width of the waterproof fabric 10 can be adjusted by the operation of winding up the waterproof fabric by means of the winding device; and the water conducting groove unit at the front edge of the waterproof fabric supplies rainwater to a water collecting unit from holes at both ends of a bottom part in such a manner as to correspond to a position of a water collecting joint unit 5, at the maximum development of the expansion arm. A plurality of the water-conducting expansion awnings of sheets are arranged in parallel in such a manner that the front edge equipped with the water guiding groove unit is covered with the fixed seating unit of the awning in the next row.
