PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic composition containing a dispersion of polymer particles and a compound for plasticizing the polymer. SOLUTION: This composition, especially the cosmetic composition for caring for or making up the skin and/or an epidermal produced matter and/or the lip, contains a physiologically acceptable medium which contains (a) at least one kind of liquid fatty phase, (b) the polymer particles dispersed in the fatty phase, and (c) at least one kind of compound selected from esters of aliphatic and aromatic polycarboxylic acids with 1-10C aliphatic and aromatic alcohols, wherein the compound (c) is contained in an amount enough for plasticizing the polymer.
