Convention date, March 8, 1937, [Class 39 (i)] In a high-frequency discharge tube the electrodes are supported on rods 4 passing through a ceramic annulus 3 separate from the ceramic upper and lower parts 1, 2 of the envelope. The rods are sealed in the annulus by metal or glass of higher melting point than that used at 14 to form the joints in the envelope walls. The upper part of the envelope may be of metal to form the anode 11 which is sealed to the part 1 by a glass melt 12. |
