PURPOSE: A non-powered cooling and ventilating device and a preservation method for environment of an ice valley are provided to automatically store cold air and exhaust hot air by opening a convection passage using a convection theory that heavy cold air falls down and light hot air rises. CONSTITUTION: Cold air generated and stored in the nature flows into a pipe(F). Heated warm air is exhausted naturally through an outlet port(A). The quality and temperature of the air are regulated by mounting a filter and a temperature sensor to a predetermined part(E). The pipe is disposed to a high part of a storage chamber and the outlet port is a bit higher than the bottom side. The cold air that flows in at night is used for a cold storage operation in the daytime and is automatically supplied again at the next night by keeping the cold air for a long time with a heat-insulated wall of the storage chamber. Even if the hot air is generated in the storage chamber during the daytime, the hot air is automatically changed with the cold external air.
