<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To focus attention on a personal digital assistant device which has become popular rapidly in recent years, and to provide a nutrition management function which users can utilize casually with the personal digital assistant device. <P>SOLUTION: The personal digital assistant device 1 comprises a local food data base 11 which stores therein food names and information on various nutrients included in the foods correlated with each other for each food name; an intake storing part 12 which accumulates and stores therein, as the intake, caloric values and nutrient values of the food to be eaten; an advice information storing part 13 which stores therein advice information based on the intake; a key inputting part 15 which comprises a numeric pad and inputs the name of the food to be eaten; and a display part 16 which comprises TFT color liquid crystal or an STN color liquid crystal and displays thereon various pieces of information.
