摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photopolymerization apparatus which efficiently emits light from a light emitting diode to an object to be irradiated, has a high optical output, does not have variations in irradiation, is light-weight and compact, and has a high reliability. SOLUTION: For this photopolymerization apparatus, the temperature at the time of operation of the light emitting diode can be reduced by a light emitting unit constituted in such a manner that the light emitting diode which emits the light having a peak light emitting wavelength of 350 to 500 nm is arranged at the end part of a heat sink by joining and fixing, and also, the flexible heat sink having radiation effects which is joined and fixed to the back surface of the light emitting diode in order to increase the optical output of the light emitting diode is housed in a hollow pipe. Also, an electric current which is passed in a short time can be increased to a rated current or higher, and as a result, boosting the input power to the light emitting diode becomes possible, and the light volume for the irradiation is increased. In addition, the photopolymerization apparatus is constituted in such a manner that even when an excessive electric current is passed, the light emitting diode is prevented from spoiling the reliability by a thermal deterioration by the radiation effects.
