PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop given damping effects on vibration in a wide high frequency range and provide low-cost construction as a whole by making the rigidity of a partition wall itself variable. SOLUTION: The partition wall 8 for sectioning two main and sub liquid chambers 10, 9 from each other connected in communication with each other via a buffer orifice 11 is formed in a piston shape displaceable in the direction of varying the volumes of the two main and sub liquid chambers 10, 9. To the piston-shaped partition wall 8, a small size piston 13 is connected which is displaceable integrally therewith in the same direction. In a small diameter cylinder 14 internally holding the small size piston 13 in a slidable manner, MR fluid 15 is sealed whose viscosity is changed with the intension of field strength.
