PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a message system that is omitted in functions at a master device for receiving detection information and emergency message information from a human detection sensor. SOLUTION: The master device 3 requests a portable telephone 4 mounted on a master device body 5 to send time information every constant period of time. The portable telephone 4 sends current time information to the master device 3 in response to the request. At the same time, each human detection sensor 1 transmits detection information every constant period of time. The master device 3 accumulates the receiving detection information for a fixed period, and also compares the time information with the setting time whenever the time information is sent from the portable telephone 4. When the setting time matches the time information, the master device 3 requests call transmission of electronic mail to the portable telephone 4, and also sends out the accumulating detection information to the portable telephone 4. The portable telephone 4 calls and transmits the detection information to the preregistered mail address of a watching side as the electronic mail in response to the request.
