PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicinal composition and a method for effectively preventing and/or treating jet lag syndrome. SOLUTION: The medicinal composition for preventing and/or treating the jet lag syndrome contains an effective amount of a benzodioxane-based 5-HT (hydroxytryptamine)1Aagonist. The method for preventing and/or treating the jet lag syndrome involves administering the medicinal composition to a mammal moving between remote time zones at the time zone corresponding to the time before noon at a departure place.
