摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of recycling sulfuric acid by removing iron content from waste sulfuric acid containing the iron content to regenerate the waste sulfuric acid using a treatment apparatus low in equipment cost and operation cost and to remarkably reduce the volume of waste. SOLUTION: The method of regenerating sulfuric acid used for the pickling of steel includes a step (1) for collecting the waste sulfuric acid containing the iron content to supply to a waste sulfuric acid tank and replenishing the decreased quantity of sulfuric acid in a pickling vessel by the regenerated sulfuric acid and sulfuric acid for replenishing if need and a step (2) for cooling the waste sulfuric acid collected from the pickling vessel and containing the iron content, depositing ferrous sulfate to separate and remove and supplying the regenerated sulfuric acid in which the concentration of iron is decreased to a regenerated sulfuric acid tank.
