PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a flanged cylindrical member by which shock lines formed in a flange part is reduced while cutting manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: After a forming stage for forming the flanged cylindrical member having the flange part by applying a plurality of drawing works to a material to be formed, the shock lines formed at the flange part 1a in the forming stage are reduced by pressing the flange part with press dies ( a punch 3 and a die 2 ). At this time, the dies with a plurality of grooves 4 formed in a concentric circular and serrated shape on the surfaces which are brought into contact with the flange part is used as the press die which are used.
