Thermoplastic polymeric films having at least two olefin based polymer layers each including a major amount of an olefin based polymer, at least one of said layers containing a high molecular weight siloxane polymer having a viscosity of greater than 1.5x10<4> N.s.m<-2>,< >and the layer or layers containing the high molecular weight siloxane polymer having a combined thickness of greater than 10pm. Such films when thermoformed have shown good transit resistance when used for packaging articles.
