It has now been found that the use of A) component A, the dithia-anthracene of Formula (I) in association with B) a second component B or an optically pure enantiomer thereof, namely with a N-alkoxycarbonyl-alpha-amino amide derivative of Formula (II) wherein Hal stands for halogen, specially fluoro or chloro, or with a N-alkylsulfonyl-alpha-amino acid amide derivative of Formula (III) wherein R1 is hydrogen, C1-C4alkyl, C3-C6cycloalkyl or halophenyl, and R2 is C1-C4alkyl; or with an alpha-alkynyloxyphenylacetic acid amide derivative of Formula (IV) wherein HAL stands for halogen, specially for fluoro, chloro or bromo; R3 is hydrogen, C1-C4alkyl or halophenyl; and R4 is hydrogen, C1-C4alkyl, C3-Cscycloalkyl or halophenyl is particularly effective in combating or preventing fungal diseases of crop plants. These combinations exhibit synergistic fungicidal activity. |
