EMULATOR FOR BRAKE PEDAL FOR ADJUSTING PEDAL FEELING ACCURATELY AND ASSISTING PEDAL OPERATION OF DRIVER

PURPOSE: An emulator of a brake pedal is provided to adjust pedal feeling accurately and promptly by moving a slide member with a motor according to stroke of the brake pedal, and to assist the pedal operation of a driver by reversing the motor in suddenly braking by detecting fluctuation of the pedal stroke. CONSTITUTION: A BBW(brake-by-wire) system comprises a brake pedal(100); a link(200) connected to the brake pedal and linearly moved; a spring(300) pressing the link; a slide member(500) movably installed to support the spring; a motor(600) driving the slide member; a pedal stroke sensor(PS) detecting stroke of the brake pedal; and an electronic control unit(ECU) controlling rotation of the motor according to detection of the pedal stroke sensor. The slide member slides to a housing(400) fixed to the vehicle body by rotation of the motor. The pedal stroke sensor transmits signals to the electronic control unit, and the electronic control unit moves the slide member by rotating or reversing the motor corresponding to pedal stroke.
