PURPOSE: Provided is a filter assembly for a water purifier which improves a water purifying function by making a filter from white clay as a main material. CONSTITUTION: The filter assembly(10) comprises a housing(11) where water is flown and discharged, a first filter(12A) fixed on the upper end part of the inner part space of the housing, a second filter(12B) fixed on the lower end part of the inner part space of the housing and a white clay filter(14) contained in a space between the first and the second filter, wherein the white clay filter is composed of many white clay pills.
