<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an elastic roller at low cost while reducing dispersion of the quality such as electric resistance. <P>SOLUTION: After a shaft 1 having the outside diameter larger than the inside diameter of a hollow part 2a is press-fitted in and passed through the hollow part 2a of an elastic roller 2, or while the shaft is press-fitted and after it is passed through the hollow part, the elastic roller 2 is fixed from an outer circumferential surface in a range of ≥ 10 mm from a tip surface of the opposite side 2c to a shaft insertion side 2b. The shaft 1 protruded from and end face of the elastic roller 2 and an air blowing cover 9 to cover an opening of the hollow part 2a of the elastic roller 2 are abutted on and tightly fitted to the end face of the elastic roller on the opposite side 2c to the shaft insertion side 2b. Pressurized air of the predetermined pressure is fed into the air blowing cover 9 from an air pump 8, and pressurized air is blown into the hollow part 2a of the elastic roller 2 to remove distortion generated on the elastic roller 2 when the shaft is inserted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
