<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronically controlled mechanical clock capable of displaying a more accurate time. <P>SOLUTION: A hand 4 is adjusted at zero o'clock, and the zero position is recognized by operating an operation part 71 such as a button or a winding crown, and then a radio wave on which time information is superimposed by an antenna 721 is received. A time correction control means 73 calculates a time correction quantity from the received time information, and replaces a counter value of an up/down counter 64 of a rotation control means 6 therewith, to thereby change the counter value. The rotation control means 6 controls a rotation period of a rotor of a generator 5 so that the counter value becomes a preset value, to thereby advance or delay the hand 4.
