<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a voltage sensor for detecting voltages of overhead wires for preventing the sensor from being broken by a partial discharge or an arc discharge of the overhead wires by suppressing the voltage difference between the voltage sensor and the overhead wires. <P>SOLUTION: The 1st input part of the voltage detector of the voltage sensor is connected with the overhead wire, and the 2nd input part of the same is connected with a detection electrode arranged between the ground and a place adjacent to the overhead wire. The voltage difference detector is prevented from being broken by the partial discharge or the arc discharge from the overhead wire, because the voltage difference detector detects the voltage difference between the overhead wire voltage as a reference and the detection electrode voltage. Therefore, the ground voltage as a reference is not necessary to bring into the voltage difference detector. By this constitution, because the voltage difference detector is arranged adjacent to the overhead wires, the disadvantage of degradation of precision of detection caused by voltages from other overhead wires can also be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
