<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of solving problems wherein both lower end parts of an air filter are raised from a front grill by warpage and dust enters through a clearance and the appearance of the air conditioner is deteriorated. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises an air filter 2 preventing the entry of dust, reinforced by a frame 2c and a sash 2d, and fitted to the front grill 1, a suction panel 3 disposed and openably held on the front surface of the air filter 2, and a projected part 3a restricting the dimensions thereof from the frame 2c of the air filter 2 formed on the rear surface of the suction panel 3. Since the frame 2c of the air filter 2 is pressed by the projected part 3a, even if the air filter 2 is deflected, the deflection can be corrected and the air filter 2 is prevented from being raised from the front grill 1.
