<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless apparatus which can be used as both an in-vehicle model and a mobile model for reducing its current consumption by revising a power supply feeding method to a display section not directly related to wireless communication in the case the wireless apparatus is used as the mobile model because a conventional wireless apparatus adopts the same power supply feeding method to the in-vehicle model and the mobile model and a battery is rapidly consumed in the case of the mobile model operated by the battery resulting in decreasing the operation time of the wireless apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless apparatus is provided with a means for identifying whether the wireless apparatus is used as the in-vehicle model or the mobile model, a means for decreasing a current supplied to a display LED in the case of the mobile model, and a means for controlling the display LED to be blinked or temporarily turned off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
