PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier film having biodegradability and transparency. SOLUTION: The film is obtained by forming a coating layer composed of a saponified material of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and an adhesion improving component such an isocyanate or polyethyleneimine on the surface of a polylactic acid film.
