PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment device in which a washing liquid is effectively recovered from the object to be treated having a groove or the like in which a plating liquid remains. SOLUTION: On the mating face 9 of the skirt 8 of a cylinder barrel 2, an upper fixture 4 is placed, and a gap 25 is formed on the space between the skirt 8 and the upper fixture 4. The upper fixture 4 is provided with an ejector 14 toward the outer circumferential face of the skirt 8 on the inner circumferential face. The ejector 14 is connected with a branch pipe 15 divided into two forks. Either of the branched pipes is provided with a feed source of a washing liquid via a valve 16a. The other branched pipe 15 is connected to a feed source of air via a valve 16b. Even if a plating liquid infiltrates into the gap 25 and remains, the washing liquid is ejected from the ejector 14, so that the plating liquid is washed away from the gap 25 and can be recovered.
