PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner improving the operability for intermittently operating power transmission to a rotating brush. SOLUTION: This vacuum cleaner is provided with a cleaner body; a suction implement body connected to the cleaner body and having a suction port opened to the lower face; the rotating brush rotatably disposed in the suction port; a drive source; and a power transmission system for transmitting power from the drive source to the rotating brush. This vacuum cleaner is rockably provided with a seesaw type switch intermittently changing over the power transmission of the power transmission system in the upper surface of the suction implement body.
