PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for supporting a tree and provide a tree supporting tool to be used in the supporting method, enabling the confirmation of the supported state of the tree from outside, using decreased number of parts of the supporting tool for the supporting work, remarkably facilitating the tree supporting work compared with conventional method and dispensing with a skilled technique of landscape architecture. SOLUTION: A slide rod is slidably inserted into each of a plurality of pipe rods having openings at both ends. The lower part of a stand supporting rod is movably attached to the slide rod and the upper parts of the multiple stand supporting rods attached to the slide rods are collected to obtain the tree supporting tool. The root ball of the tree is placed on the pipe rod and the stem of the tree is fixed with the collected part of the multiple stand supporting rods. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
