PURPOSE: A flowering time regulatory gene BrAGL20 of Chinese cabbage is provided, thereby easily regulating the flowering time of plants for increasing productivity, reducing the production costs or increasing cross-breeding. CONSTITUTION: The flowering time regulatory gene BrAGL20 of Chinese cabbage comprises the nucleotide sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:1. The flowering time regulatory protein BrAGL20 of Chinese cabbage comprises the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:2. A vector for transforming plants comprises the flowering time regulatory gene BrAGL20 of Chinese cabbage of SEQ ID NO:1, cauliflower mosaic virus 35S promoter, an inducible regulatory element, and double strand RNA which is capable of RNAi.
