<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus which can reduce the power consumption of a host side device connected by radio communication. <P>SOLUTION: The printing apparatus has a communication means for carrying out inputting and outputting of data by radio communication, a control means, and a printing process means. When information showing that a file storing image data is included in the printing object data inputted by the communication means is detected, the control means controls the communication means to input the image data stored in the file, and when the image data is inputted, the control means controls the communication means to terminate the communication by radio communication. The printing process means generates printing data from the printing object data inputted by the communication means after the communication termination by the control means, and prints the printing object data including the image data on the basis of the generated printing data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
