COGENERATION SYSTEM AND ITS WATER LEAKAGE/AIR MIXTURE DETECTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cogeneration system and its water leakage/air mixture detecting method superior in detecting accuracy without detecting the rise of a water level in a heating water tank as water leakage in error even when a heating apparatus connected to a reception side water circuit is installed at a high place.

SOLUTION: The cogeneration system comprises a control device 2 for controlling it as a whole, a timer 2a for counting a time, the heating water tank 6 for temporarily storing heat medium circulating in the reception side water circuit 4, and a water level detection part 7 for detecting the water level of the heat medium in the heating water tank 6. When the water level detecting part 7 detects that the water level of the heat medium reaches a preset water level, the control device 2 actuates the timer 2a to count time up to reaching a warning water level. If the counted time is within a preset time, water leakage due to the breakage of a partition wall of a heat exchanger 5 is determined.
