PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent air completely from being entrained into a container. SOLUTION: An apparatus for sealing the container is provided with a fixed scraping member 22 which is arranged traversing a container conveying path, at a fixed position. In the apparatus, a movable scraping member 32 is arranged traversing the container conveying path at a downstream position from the fixed scraping member 22 in the container conveying direction.
