WELDING METHOD OF STAINLESS STEEL WITH NICKEL-COBALT ALLOY AND VALVE BODY ATTACHED WITH DIAPHRAGM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve body attached with a diaphragm which exhibits a high anti-corrosion performance and a superb airtightness. SOLUTION: The diaphragm composed of a pile of a plurality of nickel-chromium alloy sheets is fitted into a fitting segment 43 of the valve body 4, and the butting point P between the fitting segment 43 and the inner peripheral edge 611 of an opening of the diaphragm is welded together with an overlapping filler metal 60 of pure nickel. Welding is conducted with a beam welding having a beam current in the range of 1.5-2.0 mA and a welding speed in the range of 0.2-0.7 m/min. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
